Hi I been praying in the Spirit, but I also sing in the Spirit have you ever heard of this and is there any biblical to confirm it?
Absolutely. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14 that he can choose to pray in tongues and to sing in tongues. It’s very biblical. I have a whole video about this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmfOJWsM4HU&t=487s
Just read your book Extra Virgin Grace. Good to get a better understanding of Galatians 5 where it says you can lose your salvation if you do these things. But its talking about unbelievers.
I’ve bought quite a lot of books on the subject of Grace and Salvation to get a fuller understanding of my faith. Knowing I dont have sinful nature has given me confidence to approach God and be more fearless in preaching the gospel.
I saw a picture of a staircase of 16 stairs. And every stair represented a different part of Salvation.
1-4 stairs are The Alpha course, Born Again,Redemption,Repentance 5-8 stairs are knowing what The unforgivable sin is ,Depending on God,Eternal Security,No Comdemnation. Then there is a gap for 9-12 stairs. So its difficult to make the jump to stairs 13-16 which talk about. Union with Christ,You are Righteous, Be Yourself,Let God work through you.
I found it difficult to understand that God accepts me that I’m the righteousness of Christ that I don’t live but he does. That I dont have an independent self and have two natures battling against each other. No matter how much I went through the ‘Christ as us’website. Or re-read Dan Stones book The rest of the gospel. Listened to Norman Grubb, Fred Pruitt David Heisler and Norman Rideout. I couldn’t bridge this enormous gap in my understanding of I’m righteous. Everybody else who hadn’t got the full revelation telling me I’m righteous and then they tell you have to earn it. Or it’s a mixture of Grace and Works.
Now I finally know what these missing links or stairs are It makes a lot more sense.
So 9-12 are I’m totally forgiven,I don’t need to confess,God loves me and I dont have a sinful nature.
To know you are righteous makes more sense when you know that you dont possess a sinful nature.
So now I can climb the entire stairway without jumping. I’ve made the top run or stair. So no more striving but rest in the complete Salvation of Christ
